One of the big goals for Operation Cardboard Con is pretty simple: get people around tables and play games.

We know how conventions go. You have that game sitting on your shelf that you would love to play, but you need an opponent. Maybe you have a monster game that rarely makes it to the table. Maybe there is a game you’ve always wanted to try but don’t know anyone who owns it. Or maybe you have a favorite that you would love to bring along and teach to some new players.

That’s exactly why we created the Operation Cardboard Con Game Matchup Spreadsheet.

Find an Opponent

If there is a particular game you want to play at the Con, add it to the spreadsheet. Let everyone know what you’re interested in playing and when you might be available.

Someone else attending may have that exact same game sitting on their shelf thinking, “Man, I hope somebody wants to play this.”

Now you can find each other before we ever get to Kansas City.

Willing to Teach a Game?

Even better!

If you have a game you know well and you’re willing to teach it, put that on the spreadsheet too.

Operation Cardboard Con is going to bring together wargamers with all kinds of experience levels and interests. Teaching a game is a great way to meet some new people, introduce someone to a system you enjoy, and hopefully get another game onto the table.

You bring the game and the knowledge. We’ll try to help you find the players.

Got a Monster Game?

This spreadsheet should also be a great place to organize those games that require a little more planning.

If you have a big multiplayer game, campaign game, or one of those glorious monsters that takes up half the table and most of the weekend, start organizing it now!
